La promotion di Vince McMahon ha annunciato che Starrcade ritornerà il 25 Novembre come uno special del rostewr DI SmackDown Live. L'evento si terrà al Greensboro Coliseum. Allo show saranno presenti anche Ricky Steamboat e Rock N Roll Express.
