Durante il Kickoff di SummerSlam 2013, giusto pochi minuti fa, c'è stata un'intervista a Paul Heyman durante il quale questi ha annunciato un cambiamento delle regole per il match CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar che avrà luogo nel PPV: "The Best vs The Beast" sarà orà disputato come un No DQ Match.
