Stando a quanto riporta Tokyo Sports, Io Shirai ha comunicato a Rossy Ogawa la decisione di lasciare la STARDOM. L'owner non si è opposto alla decisone della pluricampionessa. La Shirai, nelle prossime settimane, firmerà un contratto di sviluppo con la WWE. La Shirai, considerata la migliore wrestler al mondo, ha vinto per tre anni consecutivi il premio di miglior wrestler giapponese dell'anno. Io Shirai lotterà il suo ultimo match in STARDOM il 17 Giugno a "Goddess of Destiny" con Mayu Iwatani contro Kagetsu & Hazuki.
