Come riportate nelle settimane precedenti, Impact Wrestling e AAA hanno siglato una nuova collaborazione. Il nuovo accordo siglato da Ed Nordholm e Antonio Pena prevede che due wrestlers AAA prenderanno parte a Slammiversary XV e Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards e Lashley prenderanno parte alla prossima edizione di TripleMania. Un titolo di Impact Wrestling verrà difeso nel più importante show della AAA. Le due promotion, il prossimo autunno, faranno molti house show congiunti.
