The Wrestling Observer riporta che il WWE Title rimarrà vacante fino al 6 ottobre, data in cui si svolgerà il PPV WWE Battleground 2013 a Buffalo, NY. Il piano dovrebbe essere quello di fare Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton in un qualche gimmick match in quell'evento.
