Come riportato, prima di SmackDown Live ieri sera c'è stata nel backstage tra Simon Gotch e Sin Cara presso il DCU Center a Worcester, Massachusetts.
Alcuni testimoni hanno confermato che ciò ha avuto luogo nell'area catering, dove tutti i wrestler mangiano prima dello show, e che è stato il Cara ad avere la meglio nella riss; non è tuttavia ancora noto pubblicamente cosa l'ha causata.
Da notare che durante il Draft Sin Cara è stato draftato a RAW mentre Gotch è stato draftato a Smackdown insieme ad Aiden English.
