La New Japan Pro Wrestling, nel corso di una conferenza stampa, ha presentato il mini-tour ammericano che si terrà l'1 e 2 Luglio a Long Beach, California. La NJPW ha annunciato, oltre a decretare il primo campione US, verranno difesi i titoli Heavyweight, Intercontinental, Tag Team e Jr Heavyweight tag Team.

Il producer di Impact Wrestling, Al Snow è stato arrestato lunedì mattina a Winchester, Kentucky. In un primo momento, non si conoscevano i motivi dell'aresto dell'ex wrestler. Al Snow (vero nome Allen Ray Sarven) ha dichiarato che è stato arrestato perchè non aveva pagato una multa di due anni fa, viaggiava con un fanalino rotto ed aveva la carta d'identità scaduta. Snow è stato rilasciato dopo il pagamento di una cauzione di 234 $.
